Re-Wired 2.0 (Spring 2025)

Re-Wired 2.0 was a community-based project that offered art and conversation workshops to community members in the North Central Region of Chicago. Through art-making and conversation, these workshops focused on amplifying community members' voices to better understand their perceptions of mental health and wellness in daily life. Art was made from thread, yarn, wire, found objects, and other materials to create images, words, and cultural metaphors that explored mental health, self-care, and barriers to wellness. Re-wired 2.0 explores the potential ways art can build community and connection using wire to amplify community voices.
